STC’s unique MyIR™ iPhone based solution, with its use of next-generation net-centric Web 2.0 technologies, provides new opportunities for improving vaccination timeliness and population health. MyIR™ is a valuable public health information technology tool to support disease prevention, consistent with the CDC‘s national commitment to increase population immunization schedule compliance to minimize vaccine preventable diseases through vaccine programs. The application captures physician reported individual and family immunization histories and identifies immunizations that are past due or soon to be due. It also includes the alert feature that monitors the upcoming vaccinations and provides the user with electronic reminders as they are required.  |
